Camp Brain (Info & Registration)

CAMP BRAIN is the registration platform for FA SUMMER. 
You must create a profile to see the full range of options but that does not lock you into anything (we recognize that this isn't ideal).
 
Below (Read More) is a list of the 2025 FA SUMMER program descriptions but for specific sessions and costs, you must go through CAMP BRAIN.

Please note: programs must reach a minimum of participants to run
CAMP MARINER (Ages 5-7)
Dedicated staff guide young campers through a fun-filled morning rotation of activities, including arts & crafts, outdoor adventures, and cooperative games. Each week features special themes designed to spark creativity and curiosity. Parents do not choose programs!

CAMP SEAFARER (Ages 8-14)
Older campers can build their own summer experience through Camp SEAfarer, choosing from a variety of Sports, Enrichment, and Arts programs tailored to their interests (listed below).

EXPLORING CAPE COD SEASHORE (Ages 8-14)
Explore the marine plants and animals of the Falmouth shoreline while learning about local ecosystems. Campers will investigate beaches, salt marshes, dunes, tide pools, and rocky shores through fieldwork. Trips include visits to Woodneck Beach, Surf Drive, Trunk River, Chapoquoit Beach, and The Knob Students will collect and study marine life such as mollusks, crabs, fish, and seaweed. Classroom activities will supplement field experiences, offering an engaging and educational deep dive into the wonders of the sea.

OBSERVING NATURE, BIRDS, TREES (Ages 8-14)
Explore Beebe Woods and the Falmouth Academy campus while honing your creative writing skills. Through poetry and storytelling, campers will capture the sights and sounds of the natural world.

OBSERVING NATURE WITH BIRD IDENTIFICATION (Ages 8-14)
Campers will learn to identify local birds by sight and sound as they explore Beebe Woods and the Falmouth Academy campus. Through guided walks and field observations, they'll discover the diverse birdlife of the region.

POETIC INSPIRATIONS (Ages 8-14)
Let nature spark your creativity! In this immersive writing class, campers will explore the sights, sounds, and beauty of Beebe Woods and the Falmouth Academy campus as inspiration for their poetry and prose. Through guided exercises, they'll develop their creative writing skills while learning common poetic and rhetorical devices. Whether crafting vivid descriptions or experimenting with metaphor and rhythm, campers will discover new ways to bring their words to life.

BEGINNER VIOLIN (Ages 8-14)
Designed for campers with little or no violin experience, this group lesson focuses on form, technique, and producing a consistent sound. Campers will play recognizable songs together, fostering collaboration and confidence. Violin rentals can be arranged if needed. 

ARTS & CRAFTS (Ages 8-14)
Calling all artists! Campers will explore a variety of materials and techniques, including painting, drawing, block printing, rock painting, decoupage, bracelet making, weaving, origami, embroidery, and more.

YOUNG POTTERS WORKSHOP (Ages 8-14)
Using a variety of hand-building techniques, campers will create small sculptures and functional vessels, from bobblehead figurines to bowls. All pieces will be fired and ready for pickup within two weeks. Creations can be painted at home with acrylics, paint pens, or other materials.

POTTERY ON THE WHEEL (Ages 10-14)
Try your hand at the potter’s wheel in this one-week workshop. Campers will learn to throw simple bowls and cups, and then decorate their creations with underglazes. Fired pieces will be ready for pickup within two weeks. No experience necessary.

ACTING & IMPROV (Ages 8-14)
Step into the spotlight! This high-energy class introduces campers to the fundamentals of acting and improvisation. Through theater games, character work, and spontaneous scene-building, they'll gain confidence, sharpen their storytelling skills, and learn to think on their feet. Whether you're a seasoned performer or brand new to the stage, this class is all about creativity, collaboration, and having fun!

ROBOTICS (Ages 8-14)
Ready to build, code, and create? In this hands-on robotics class, campers will design and program robots to complete fun challenges. Using motors, sensors, and coding logic, they'll learn how robots move, respond to their environment, and even compete in friendly competitions. No prior experience is necessary—just bring your curiosity and creativity!

GAME ADVENTURES (Ages 8-14)
Get your game on! Campers will test their strategy and problem-solving skills with chess, Mandala, checkers, and Rubik’s cube challenges—plus a chance to build with Legos and more.

CODING & CIRCUITS (Ages 8-14)
Tech enthusiasts will dive into coding with Python and Scratch while experimenting with conductive materials and circuits. The week ends with a Dave & Buster-style game challenge!

TERRIFIC TOWERS (Ages 8-14)
Campers will design, build, and test the strength of various towers using a range of materials. Who can build the tallest, strongest structure? Join us for a week of hands-on STEM fun!

WHOLE LOT’A MACHINES (Ages 8-14)
Find the engineer in you! Campers will design and build mini bridges, gliders, trebuchets, and more in this hands-on exploration of simple machines.

TENNIS (Ages 8-14)
Campers will develop their confidence and skills as they learn the fundamentals of tennis through hands-on instruction and engaging drills.

SOCCER (Ages 8-14)
Campers will sharpen their footwork, passing, and game strategy while building confidence in a fun and supportive environment. Through skill-building exercises, scrimmages, and teamwork drills, they'll get plenty of touches on the ball.

BASKETBALL (Ages 8-14)
Campers will learn the fundamentals of dribbling, shooting, passing, and defense while playing games and skill-building drills designed to enhance confidence and teamwork.

VOLLEYBALL (Ages 8-14)
Campers will develop their passing, setting, spiking, and serving skills while learning the fundamentals of teamwork and gameplay.

WIFFLE BALL (Ages 8-14)
From pitching to hitting, campers will refine their Wiffle Ball skills through interactive drills, games, and team challenges.

PICKLEBALL (Ages 8-14)
This fun and fast-paced sport blends elements of tennis, badminton, and ping pong. Campers will learn the fundamentals of serving, volleying, and strategy through engaging instruction and play.

FLAG FOOTBALL (Ages 8-14)
Campers will focus on passing, catching, running routes, and defensive play while learning teamwork and strategy in a non-contact format.

ARCHERY (Ages 8-14)
Campers will learn the fundamentals of archery, including stance, technique, and safety, as they refine their aim and accuracy.

REC GAMES (Ages 8-14)
A mix of high-energy games and sports, including soccer, basketball, Wiffle Ball, floor hockey, pickleball, flag football, Capture the Flag, volleyball, tag, and more. Campers will stay active while learning teamwork and strategy in a fun setting.

HIP HOP (Ages 8-14)
Move and groove to your favorite songs! Campers will learn energetic hip-hop routines from a professional dance instructor in a fun and upbeat atmosphere—no experience necessary.

CONTEMPORARY DANCE (Ages 8-14)
Designed for all experience levels, this class introduces the fundamentals of contemporary dance, including expressive movement, technique, and choreography with a professional instructor.

ACADEMIC TUTORING (Students entering Grades 6-8)
This specialized one-week morning course helps middle schoolers strengthen math and writing skills while preventing summer learning loss. With individualized learning plans and small-group instruction, students will build confidence and prepare for the upcoming school year.
 
DRAMA CLINICS

MUSICAL THEATER ACADEMY (Ages 8-14)

A two-week drama intensive led by a professional stage director, culminating in a live stage production. Campers will learn lines, projection, vocal control, and stage direction.
 
TECHNICAL THEATER ACADEMY (Ages 8-14)
Campers will explore set design, lighting, and prop construction as they bring the summer’s musical production to life. The tech crew will work behind the scenes to build, stage, and manage the public performances.

THEATER ARTS ACADEMY (Ages 8-14)
This two-week drama intensive, directed by a theater professional, leads to a fully staged production in the Hermann Theater. Campers will learn lines, stage movement, and the fundamentals of theatrical performance.

MUSIC CLINICS


ROCK & JAZZ
For campers with at least three years of playing experience, this clinic focuses on improvisation, ensemble playing, and performance skills.

MUSICAL COMPOSITION

Campers will explore the fundamentals of composing music—learning melody, harmony, and rhythm.

BEGINNER VIOLIN INTENSIVE

INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED STRINGS  (Ages 8-14)

Designed for experienced string players looking to refine technique, musicianship, and ensemble playing.

INTRO TO UKULELE (Ages 8 & up)

A fun and accessible introduction to the ukulele, perfect for beginners! Campers will learn basic chords, strumming patterns, and familiar songs.
