Help Dreams Grow and Futures Flourish! Join Us at the Falmouth Academy 2025 Benefit Auction
The Falmouth Academy Benefit Auction is the school’s largest fundraiser. This year, our goal is to once again raise more than $100,000 to benefit our students and the broader community that enjoys the use of our classrooms, theater, gym, and playing fields.
The 2025 theme, “Where Dreams Grow,” reflects our school’s sense of place (34 acres abutting Beebe Woods, a 400-acre swath of protected forest); commitment to environmental sustainability; and nurturing community dedicated to fostering students’ growth. Online Auction | April 28 - May 8, 2025 A two-week online auction offering unique items and experiences for bidding.
Live Auction | May 10, 2025 Held at Falmouth Academy, this evening includes a plated dinner, live bidding on exclusive items, and an opportunity to support this year’s Fund-a-Need. Guests can also bid on centerpieces designed especially for the event.
Proceeds from the event provide unrestricted support for the Fund for Falmouth Academy, which funds approximately 8% of the school's annual operating costs including financial aid for more than half of our families.
Thank you in advance for your support of Falmouth Academy!
The auction is FA’s largest fundraiser of the year. In 2024, donations and purchases brought in more than $100,000 to benefit the Fund for Falmouth Academy, which supports everything we do including offering tuition assistance to more than half of our families.
The online auction, offered for two weeks leading up to the live auction, includes hundreds of items, services, baskets, and experiences for bidding. There are also gift certificates for amazing local restaurants, artwork, exclusive getaways, and more. The online auction also includes the opportunity to support Mission Critical Supplies, where you can donate budget relief to specific areas of the school’s operations, like Arts and Athletics, for example.
The live auction features about 20 items for competitive bidding, and will also include a few select silent auction items. In the past, we’ve had such things as private chef’s dinners, personal boat cruises, Martha’s Vineyard getaways, and coveted faculty-led experiences.
Arrive at 5:30 PM, hors d’oeuvres will be passed during a limited silent auction. Dinner will be served at 6:30 PM. FA Athletic Director Jesse Brown will lead a rousing game of Heads or Tails to start the speaking event. Jason Cullinane P’30 will lead the bidding on live auction items.
Dress: We use the term “Cape Cod Casual." People typically dress up, and some take the theme to heart and dress accordingly. Feel free to wear imaginative outfits.
When you register, you will be asked for a credit card, which will not be charged unless you are the winning bidder on an item. After bidding closes, winners will be notified and given the process for claiming their item(s).
While no online bids will be taken for Live Auction items, you can send in a closed bid between May 6 - 10, and it will be included in the evening’s bidding. All closed bids should be sent by email to dgallagher@falmouthacademy.org.
Share the word that we are looking for donations, and ask family members, friends, neighbors, and co-workers for items, experiences, or unique services that they can provide.
Consider sponsoring or encouraging others to sponsor or purchase an ad in the program. Most importantly, attend the event and bring your friends!
There is an opportunity to donate items, gift cards, or services to class-themed baskets that will be sold during the silent auction at the live event.
May 10, 2025 Over 20 premiere items are open for live bidding the night of the event and include such things as private chef’s dinners, private sailing excursions, Martha’s Vineyard getaways, and coveted faculty-offered experiences.
As part of the May 10 live auction, attendees are given the opportunity to raise their paddles to support a designated big-ticket item for the school. Past items have included a new tractor, stage lighting, updated computers, and a new gym floor.
