• Donor-Advised Funds (DAFs)

  As a 501(c)(3), Falmouth Academy is eligible to receive contributions from Donor-Advised Funds. Achieve maximum tax benefits while supporting a cause you care about. Contact your DAF sponsoring organization to designate FA as a grant recipient.

• Matching Gifts

  Many employers offer a benefit that will match your charitable giving, often doubling or even tripling the size of your gift! To find out if yours is one of them, visit our Matching Gifts page.

• Gifts of Stock or Securities

  A gift of securities (stocks, bonds, or mutual fund shares) that you have held for more than one year can be the most economical way to make a gift. By donating appreciated stocks directly to FA, you can avoid the capital gains tax that would be incurred if you sold the securities.
  
  When you're ready to initiate an electronic transfer for donations of stock, please follow the below steps:
  
  1. Call the Development Office at 508-457-9696 or email development@falmouthacademy.org for our wiring instructions.
  
  2. Ask your broker to wire the securities to FA's account. Your broker should then confirm the transaction details in writing to you, specifying:
  
  - the name & number of shares transferred
  - the date of transfer
  - the mean market value per share on the date of transfer
  
  

  3. Lastly, be sure to notify or have your broker contact David Gallagher, Development Associate, at 508-457-9696 x 242 to confirm all transaction details.

• Recurring Giving

  FA's recurring gift program, the ⚓ Anchor Society ⚓ , allows you to maximize your contribution to the school by giving in smaller monthly increments. Automatic deductions from your payment of choice (credit card, debit card, digital wallet, or checking account) make a sustained impact on our community in a simple, budget-friendly way.

• Planned Gifts

  Falmouth Academy encourages its donors to include the school in their bequests and legacy estate plans. Planned giving ensures that FA will continue to impact those we serve well into the future, and also secures tax and financial benefits for you and your family. Donors who choose to support FA in this way are also inducted into our J.K. Lilly III Society, named in honor of Josiah K. Lilly, whose visionary gift of 34 acres established the campus we call home today.
