- Step 3: DAY VISIT AND INTERVIEW (visit and interview schedule begins October 1)
All prospective students are required to spend a full school day visiting classes and meeting fellow classmates. The visit day is from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., typically with the grade to which the student is applying. We match one of our current students with each visitor considering any shared interests. Interviews take place on the same day as the visit.
To schedule a day visit and interview, log into your online Falmouth Academy application account and view your Admission Checklist. Choose your student in the left-hand corner to access the Admission Checklist page and select “Schedule a visit”. Once you put in a request, someone from the admission office will confirm your visit.
If you are unable to schedule your visit and interview through your Falmouth Academy online account, please contact Sarah Knowles in the Admission Office.
- Step 4: TRANSCRIPTS
Please request an official transcript from your student's current school. The transcript should include grades from the last three years plus the first trimester or semester of the current academic year.

Please send recommendation requests through your online Falmouth Academy application using your application checklist. PDF copies of the forms can be found below:

- Step 6: SSAT TESTING
While we take a holistic look when viewing your student's application, the Secondary School Admission Test (SSAT) allows us to learn more about your student's academic background. All students applying to Falmouth Academy are required to take the SSAT. It is preferable to take this test on the October, November, December, or January test dates to meet our application deadline. Falmouth Academy’s SSAT code is 3112.
Falmouth Academy is a test center and offers the tests on the dates listed below. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. with the test starting promptly at 9:00 a.m. The test ends at approximately 12:15 p.m. Students must register for the test through the SSAT website.

- Step 6: CHARACTER SKILLS SNAPSHOT (optional)
Character and personal growth are an integral part of a Falmouth Academy education. Grades and test scores just don’t tell us the whole story of your student. The Character Skills Snapshot gives us richer holistic information and illuminates areas where Falmouth Academy can help your student grow and thrive. For students who take the SSAT, there is no charge to take The Snapshot. Once you register for an SSAT, you will have access to The Snapshot. This is an optional piece to the admission application.
