Ways to Give

Gifts of any size are significant to Falmouth Academy because they support our mission, people and programs. The following information describes a wide range of giving options that can help you make a gift that will maximize benefits to you and the school. In addition to cash, many other assets may be used to fund a gift, including appreciated stock, personal property and retirement plan funds. Please note that Falmouth Academy’s Annual Fund runs July 1 through June 30.

Online Giving

Click on the Donate Here button to support FA through our secure PayPal online giving page.

Check

Please make checks payable to Falmouth Academy and mail to: Development Office, Falmouth Academy, 7 Highfield Drive, Falmouth, MA 02540.

Credit Card

To make your gift via credit card, you may visit our online giving page or call our Development Office at (508) 457-9696 with your card number, expiration date and billing zip code. FA accepts Visa and Mastercard.

Monthly Giving

You can now conveniently set up automatic monthly gifts from your bank account or credit card. You name the amount (minimum of $10) and then the transfers occur between the 5th and 10th of each month. Download the Falmouth Academy Monthly Giving Form here. Corporate Matching Gifts

Many companies sponsor matching gift programs that enhance a charitable contribution made by an employee. Not only does FA benefit from the increased donation, but also a donor may qualify for a higher category of recognition when the gift is matched. Ask your human resource department for a matching gift form and send it in with your contribution.

Use Goodsearch for online searches and shopping

Use GoodSearch as your search engine and they will donate a penny to Falmouth Academy every time you do a search. In addition, do all of your shopping through their online shopping mall, GoodShop.com, where you can shop at more than 700 top online retailers (LL Bean, Land’s End, Amazon and many more) and a percentage of your purchases will go to FA.

Gifts of Stock

By donating appreciated stocks directly to FA, you can avoid the capital gains tax that would be incurred if you sold the securities. Honorary or Memorial Gifts

You may wish to make a gift in honor of a loved one, a student or graduate, or favorite teacher. You may also wish to remember a loved one with a memorial gift. Please let us know the name of the person you wish to honor or remember when you make your gift; we will be happy to notify the honoree or the family of the loved one of your kind contribution.

Tangible Personal Property Items

Personal property items that have appreciated in value, such as books, works of art, coin collections or antiques, may be given to Falmouth Academy as charitable gifts. The charitable deduction depends on the appraised value and whether or not the gift is related to our tax-exempt purpose.
