Online Science Databases

Online databases are a collection of articles in journals, magazines, newspapers, and books that are available through the internet, but cannot be found using Google or other search engines.  These databases focus on science resources that may be helpful for your project.  Plus, you can search them while at school or at home.

Science in Context
A one-stop resource for all science-related research needs.

Science Online
Includes more than 1,300 science experiments and activities, as well as full and partial text from hundreds of authoritative print titles.  You will need a user name and password to use this database at home.  Please email .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) for this information.

Health and Wellness Resource Center
Includes the Gale Encyclopedia of Medicine and other reference material as well as full-text magazines, journals, and pamphlets from a wide variety of authoritative medical sources.

Health Reference Center Academic
Includes articles on Medicine, Nutrition, Diseases, Alcohol and Drugs, Prescription Drugs and herbal remedies.
