How to apply for admission

We are eager to learn more about you, and we want you to learn as much as you can about FA. The goal of the application process is to determine whether the school is a good fit for each applicant. This is why an interview and a day spent visiting classes are part of our application. We are happy to arrange less formal visits as well. Please call the admissions office if you would like to visit. 

The application deadline is March 1. Applications completed after that date will be reviewed if we have places available in the class. The items listed below are required to complete the application file for candidates for every grade level:

• Interview and day of visiting classes
• Student Application Form
• Parent Application Form
• Application fee of $50
• SSAT (see below)
• Recommendation from current English teacher
• Recommendation from current Math teacher
• Reference from an adult who knows the student well outside of school
• School transcript

SSAT Testing at Falmouth Academy

All testing takes place on Saturday mornings. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. and the test ends at approximately 12:15 p.m. To register to take the SSAT at Falmouth Academy or at any other testing site, click here.

To meet the Falmouth Academy application deadline of March 1, applicants to Falmouth Academy must take the SSAT, at the latest, by the February 5 SSAT date.
