Falmouth Academy Sports Camp      
9:00-3:00 p.m., ages 6 to 12, $325 - or - 
12:30-3:00 p.m., ages 6-12, roll into Sports from Special for All Day $458

Play a variety of sports including basketball, soccer, and tennis and learn the fundamentals through play and good sportsmanship. The class is designed to help build confidence and prepare players for the next level. Campers will be put into groups depending on their age.

Fort Building with Abagail Bumpus and Guy Knapp
9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m., ages 7-12, $295

Students will enjoy a week of wild outdoor fun, designing and building forts in the woods with a mix of found and recycled materials. The goal is to build the most creatively engineered and sturdiest fort possible to be tested with a water battle at the end of the week. Strategy and teamwork are key!

Ceramics in the Studio for Two Weeks (week 2 of 2) with Courtney Franks
9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m., ages 7-12, $550

This two-week ceramics class will be an exploration of hand-building and wheel-throwing techniques. Students can look forward to experimenting and discovering new techniques and creating pieces that are both functional and beautiful.

Acting Camp - Who, What, When, Where, Why? with Victoria Santos
9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m., ages 7-12, $495

Create and perform a "who done it" mystery using the five W's. The class will brainstorm ideas, create a storyboard/comic outline, cast roles, rehearse and perform the final skit for families and friends. Break a leg!

Fairies and their Houses (session E) with Abagail Bumpus
12:30-3:00 p.m., ages 7-12, $250

Do you like fairies? Explore the art of building their houses using found objects on campus, in the woods, and at the beach while learning some of the folklore about the wonderful beings! Students will collect a treasure bag to make fairy houses at home.

Summer Percussion Ensemble with Matthias Bossi
12:30-3:00 p.m., ages 10-15, $250

A high-energy drum camp that introduces the role of improvisation in drumming. Students will play on a variety of percussive instruments and the course will culminate in an in-studio concert for friends and family that highlights the students' newfound connectedness with percussion.

Animation (session E) Video in the Studio with Allen Russell
12:30-3:00 p.m., ages 7-12, $250

At FCTV students will be guided in making short animated videos from pre-production through editing. Students learn about stop-motion animation and create and animate their own story and characters with voices and effects.

Cuban Cooking & Culture with Martha Tarafa
5:30-8:00 p.m., ages adults and mature teens, $50

¡Viva Cuba! Learn to prepare a traditional Cuban meal of ropa vieja (old clothes), fried plantains, flan, and other traditional fare. We will also share stories about Cuba and its rich culture. ¡Vamos a disfrutar!

Writing the College Essay Workshop with Guy Knapp
5:30-7:30 p.m., ages 15-18, $180

Students will jump start writing their college essays and enjoy constructive and nonjudgmental feedback from someone who went through this all very recently. The course will cover the basics of what makes a good college essay, critically read examples and analyze their structure and content to learn mechanics.
