Martha Borden:  Constructing Modern Knowledge Workshop
Martha attended a week-long professional development institute hosted by Constructing Modern Knowledge, "committed to creativity, collaboration and computing." The workshop provided access to a wide array of materials including electronics (such as circuit boards, 3D printers, laser printers), arts and craft supplies, an extensive library of books, and access to leaders in the field of teaching.

Scottie Mobley: Conference on Teaching Excellence       
Scottie attended the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development Conference on Teaching Excellence in Denver, June 30-July 2, 2017.   

Lucy Nelson: Silk Screen Printing Workshop
In the summer of 2017, Lucy attended a silkscreen printing workshop at Truro Center for the Arts at Castle Hill.*

John Yankee: is scheduled to attend the 2018 American Choral Directors Association Summer Conference (location TBD).

Marite Burns: Ceramics Workshops
In September of 2017, Marite attended two workshops (one to learn how to make oyster plates and the other to make bread pots and pitchers) at the Truro Center for the Arts at Castle Hill.*

Susan Moffat: Photographic Study Experience
Susan Moffat spent 8 days on a photographic exploration of northern Iceland in August 2017.*
