Parents Association

All parents are considered members of the Falmouth Academy Parents Association when they join the community. This important group of parent volunteers is led by Deidre Moniz P’22 and Nancy Thrasher P’22. Meetings are the first Monday of each month (except for holidays) beginning in October at 5:30 PM in the Buxton Library. There is a call-in option for those who can’t attend in person.

In partnership with the school, the Falmouth Academy Parents Association fosters a strong sense of community by cultivating family participation in the life of the school and coordinating active volunteering. It supports the school community as friend raisers, fundraisers, and event planners, and provides parents with the opportunity to support the school in an informed, amiable, and receptive setting.

There are many fun ways to meet other parents and participate in the Falmouth Academy community. Watch the Mainsheet, the online calendar and your email for notices of meetings, events, and volunteer opportunities. In the meantime, please take a look at the volunteer opportunities listed on the volunteer form located in the parent portal under your MyFA account (weblink is coming) and let us know what interests you. We understand that obligations may change as events draw near, and we will be in touch well beforehand to confirm your availability.
